WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
(1) Clap our hands and voice shouts of praise
Psalms 47:1 "O clap your hands all ye people; shout unto God with the voice triumph."
(2) Pray in the Spirit
I Cor. 14:2 "for he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but
unto God.
(3) Sing choruses and scriptures, as well as hymns
Eph. 5:19 - "Express your joy in singing among yourselves psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs, making music in your hearts for the ears of the Lord!"
(4) Prophesy
Amos 3:8 - "… the Lord God hath spoken, who can but prophesy?"
I Cor. 14:3 - "But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and
exhortation, and comfort."
(5) Dance
Psalms 149:2-3 "Let Israel rejoice in him that made him; let the children of Zion be joyful
in their King. Let them praise his name in the dance.
(6) Sing in the Spirit
Eph. 5:19, Col 3:16 and I Cor. 14:15 refer to singing with hymns, psalms and spiritual
songs, and to singing with the spirit and also with the understanding. We read in John
4:24 that God is a Spirit, and we must worship him in the spirit and in truth.
(7) Have musical instruments as part our worship service
Psalms 150: 3-5 "Praise him with the trumpet and with the flute and harp. Praise him
with the tambourines and processional. Praise him with stringed instruments and horns,
Praise him with the cymbals, yes loud clanging cymbals."
(8) Stand and sing unto the Lord
II Chron. 20:19 "And the Levites, of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the
Lord God of Israel with the loud voice on high?"
(9) Lift our hands
Psalms 134:2 "Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord."
(10) Have the whole church pray at once
Acts 1:14 "These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the
women, and Mary, the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren."

body in answer to believing prayer.
WE BELIEVE that the baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers
who ask for it.
WE BELIEVE in the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost, by whose indwelling, the Christian is
enabled to live a holy and separated life in the present world.
