Evangelist Osie L. Hill, 1st Lady
The third of ten children, First Lady Osie L. Hill was raised in
the Baptist Church in her home state of Louisiana. In
1967, after graduating from high school she enrolled in a
Job Corps program in Albuquerque, New Mexico majoring
in data processing. After finishing the program in New
Mexico, she relocated to the Los Angeles area and
continued her education at Los Angeles Community
College.
First Lady Osie met her beloved husband Pastor Ronald
C. Hill back in 1971 while he was a transit operator for the
then RTD transit company. Ron Hill as he was known then
made it a practice to witness to unsuspecting passengers.
Osie was one of those passengers, who upon receiving an invitation to church, was surprised to find
that she had the same last name as the operator. After attending service with brother Ron, it wasn’t
long before Osie accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into her life and was soon baptized and filled with the
Holy Spirit.
Brother Ron wasted no time in asking Sister Osie to become his bride. They were married on February
19, 1972. From the very beginning of this union in Christ these two were called to great ministry in and
outside the four walls of the local church holding city prayer rallies, hosting marriage seminars,
preaching the gospel wherever there was a open door, passing out tracts in jails, missions and street
corners. To this union God has blessed them with four children: Angela, Constance, Ronald Jr., and
Joseph. They have also been blessed with two grandchildren, Jahkari and Tori.
Lady Osie began her ministry as a host and teacher with Child Evangelism Fellowship when her
children were young. She has also volunteered as a counselor with the Los Angeles County Juvenile
Hall System for a number of years. In 1989, Sister Osie received her Evangelist Missionary license in the
Church of God in Christ. The Lord has since opened numerous doors for her to do seminars for minister
and pastors wives whom she possesses a great passion for. The Lord has also allowed her and her
husband to conduct variety of workshop seminars locally and across the nation.
First Lady Osie is a prayerful woman of God who serves in her local church ministry as the prayer leader
for the 6:00 a.m. hour each morning Tuesday thru Friday when she in not traveling. She also serves as
the Women’s Ministry Coordinator and is an inspiring mentor to the women of Love and Unity Church of
God in Christ and women everywhere who are opened to receive from this sincerely gracious woman
of God. Lady Osie diligently serves along side her husband Pastor Ron, to win souls to Christ and serve
His people in whatever capacity she can. Her desire for the women of this ministry is that these ladies
become Christ focused, purpose-driven, faithful committed women of God. She further focuses on
educating and instilling in the women of God the importance of how to be healthy the body, soul, and
spirit.
